Anna Thomson

COTA/L

Anna received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Linguistics from Metropolitan State University of Denver and her Associates of Occupational Studies to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

She has always loved working with children through different daycare settings and a respite care center. Throughout her time working with children, Anna has valued greatly taking the quality time to get to know the child uniquely just as they are and meeting them where they are at to begin building a strong relationship. Anna believes one of the best feelings and experiences in Occupational Therapy is working with a child to achieve a goal, witnessing when they achieve it and the excitement that starts with the child and family.

Anna feels so lucky to have completed her student field work at CTSC and be able to return as a therapist at such an amazing place.

During her free time, Anna enjoys game nights with friends, weight lifting, listening to music, reading, embroidery and hanging out with her cats.
