Gretchen Newcomb

RBT

Gretchen grew up in Wisconsin and recently received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences with a certificate in Cognitive Science. She then went on to receive her SLPA certification from CU Boulder after being a SLPA intern at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. Gretchen worked with her supervising SLP to help young children with a variety of disorders, delays and diagnoses including the following: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, speech sound disorders and receptive/expressive language disorders. Gretchen is currently applying to graduate programs in hopes of attending a MA-SLP program.

Gretchen has had experience working as a RBT for the past two years, and has provided ABA therapy in both in-home and clinical settings. She prides herself on her natural ability to build rapport and relationships with the kids she sees. She finds so much fulfillment working with young populations and hopes to do so as a future SLP.

Gretchen has lived in Colorado for the past five years and has enjoyed every moment of it. In her free time she loves to go for runs outside, attend concerts at Red Rocks and hang out with her friends.
