Jamie Thobe

M.A. CCC-SLP

Jamie has worked as a speech-language pathologist with the pediatric population since completing her graduate studies. She moved to Colorado in 2017 after completing her Master’s program at Truman State University. Jamie has a passion for working with children ages birth-5 to help them become more successful communicators and enjoys the family education and training aspect of her job. Jamie loves working on a multidisciplinary team and has learned so much from other disciplines, which has made her appreciate treating the ‘whole child’. Jamie takes time to build trust and understand children and their families on a personal level to develop a strong foundation for therapy and facilitate communication. Jamie has worked with children with a variety of diagnoses, including receptive-expressive language delays, oral-motor coordination difficulties, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation/phonological disorders, feeding difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, and complex medical needs. She has experience in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, home health, schools, and daycares, but CTSC has been her favorite by far!

Jamie is originally from the Chicagoland area but has loved her time spent in Colorado. When she is not playing on the floor with her kiddos, she enjoys hiking, camping, recreational sports, coffee, and spending time with her cat and dog.
