LAUREN KNAUPE

Director of Occupational Therapy, OTD, OTR/L

Lauren Knaupe is the Lead Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Children’s Therapy Services of Colorado and has been a pediatric occupational therapist since 2011. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Purdue University in 2006, her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Rush University in 2011 and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas in 2018. 

 Lauren began her career in pediatric occupational therapy in Chicago at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, where she held many positions including fieldwork student, full time therapist and clinic director. During this time she worked with kids of all ages and diagnoses including autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, sensory processing challenges, and feeding difficulties.

 Lauren currently works with all ages and abilities with a focus in feeding therapy. She utilizes a holistic approach working with the child and family, pulling from her diverse background to implement individual and client centered therapy.
