Shelly Tarin, M.S., CCC-SLP

Pediatric Therapist

Shelly grew up in Tok, Alaska. She went from the rural extreme to the city extreme for college in Chicago at North Park University. The mountains were calling her west, and she earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UNC in Greeley in 2006.

New husband in tow, Shelly returned to Alaska and worked in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District for nine years. There she gained experience working with students from age 3-21, in all settings of public school special education including homebound students, Assistive Technology, and she provided support for students across the autism spectrum.

Shelly, her husband Carlos, and their two children returned to the Front Range in May of 2015 to be closer to extended family and closer to some steady sunshine. Shelly enjoys playing with her son and daughter outside in every season, and spending time with her grandmother. Shelly currently lives in Berthoud, CO.
