Kaitlin Schmidt

Kaitlin received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. She always knew that she wanted to pursue a profession where she would be able to help others. After completing an internship at a pediatric clinic during her undergrad, she knew that this career and population was her passion. Throughout undergraduate and graduate school, Kaitlin worked at this same clinic as a speech language pathologist assistant for 2 years. She gained experience working with a multidisciplinary team to help individuals with various disorders, delays and diagnoses including the following: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, receptive/expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, craniofacial conditions, fluency disorders, and swallowing/feeding disorders. 

Kaitlin moved to Colorado 5 months ago and has enjoyed exploring her new home. When she has free time, she likes to go on hikes, check out the local farmer’s market, or read suspense books.
