Maddie received her bachelors of science in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from Jacksonville State University. She continued her education by taking Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences courses through the University of Colorado before graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology. Maddie has always had a passion for helping others. After completing a clinical rotation at Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Maddie knew that supporting the pediatric population was what she wanted to do. She has experience working on a multidisciplinary team in supporting individuals with a variety of disorders, diagnoses, or delays such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, Down Syndrome, neurogenetic disorders, Fragile X, receptive/expressive language disorders, and speech sound disorders.
Maddie is a Colorado native and enjoys spending time with her family. In her free time she likes to read books, be outside near a body of water, or try out a new restaurant.
