NICOLE COAKLEY
OTD, OTR/L
Nicole grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota and moved to Colorado in July of 2022. She adores this new place she calls home. Prior to moving to Colorado, Nicole earned her OTD from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Nicole firmly believes Occupational Therapy to be the greatest career, and feels honored to work with incredible clients in meaningful ways day in and day out. During her Occupational Therapy Doctorate program, Nicole fell in love with many areas of OT practice, including working with clients of all ages. She is fascinated by the human brain and is particularly passionate about treating neurological conditions. Nicole is dedicated to and excited about continuing to expand upon her knowledge of the complex human brain and other body systems through continued, lifelong learning.
Nicole finds children to be an incredible source of inspiration and enjoys being able to, in turn, inspire and enable them to live fulfilling lives. Nicole decided to pursue a career in OT upon recognizing the meaningful relationships therapists can build with their clients and families. Thus, she enjoys getting to know her clients and families, collaborating with them, and providing caregiver training. Nicole appreciates the holistic nature of the profession, the client-centered approach, as well as the creativity it requires and inspires.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys snowboarding, camping, traveling, attending outdoor concerts, scoping out new restaurants, spending quality time with friends/family/her precious puppy, and generally exploring the unique world we live in.
