STEPHANIE GREEN
Director of Speech Therapy, M.A., CCC-SLP
Stephanie understood very early in her career that working with children was her life calling. Stephanie followed this calling and started practicing speech therapy in Colorado more than ten years ago after completing her speech-language pathology graduate studies at Michigan State University. Through the years Stephanie has obtained a great deal of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and those with significant communication and developmental delays. Stephanie has also worked a great deal with children diagnosed with articulation disorders/apraxia, expressive receptive language delays, processing disorders and children with behavioral challenges. She is trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and is familiar with basic sign language. Stephanie works closely with interpreters and is comfortable providing therapy with an interpreter of any language. Stephanie enjoys the human aspect of her job and takes time to understand children on a personal level, while helping them to become better communicators.
Stephanie loves the outdoors, gardening, and running around with her kids. When there is a chance for downtime, she savors moments of solitude, reading books, or catching a nap. When naps are not possible, Stephanie goes for white chocolate mocha lattes from Starbucks to perk her up!!
